This weeks throwback Thursday was taken in Namibia in 2013. The baobab tree here is the biggest in Namibia.
Our group was camped about 10 minutes walk from the tree and had all already had a look at it before dinner. I'd decided that I would wait until sunset and return to try getting an image of the tree with a bit of colour in the sky.
I'll tell you what, there's not many things that can make you feel as vulnerable as being alone in the Namibian bush after the sun has gone down and having just read a sign warning you to be wary of wild animals, the beer I'd taken with me didn't help either.
